I didn't go on that trip, I was stuck at home with corona. so I sat in bed doing absolutely nothing while everyone was in Wadi Rum (the best place on the face of the earth in my opinion). But I wasn't jealous, because they were in a camp... not wadi rum. Going to a camp sleeping in a fenced area, with a shop, and cabins with a bed and a door, going for hikes and doing school activities. that is an academic trip, not Wadi Rum. If I were to go to Wadi Rum, I would sleep in the middle of the desert on the sand, on the floor, with no shops near, no hospitals, or any medical attention. sleeping in a sleeping bag on the soft cold sand on the floor in a thin mesh tent with a zipper. with a knife on my hip, going for hikes on a Dirtbike, leaving the campsite to hunt for dinner. Bathing in the venom of the scorpions, and feeling the rough warm soothing breath of a hyena and wild desert dog down my neck, That Is Wadi Rum.so I stayed at home bedridden and found a new activity to keep me occupied while my insides fought off a beer brand, drawing. I drew almost 26 portraits. with paint and all, I continued it for hours and hours until I realized. video games exist.
