Where is my costume? Should I be a unicorn or a witch? I’ll go with the witch. Enormous nose, crabbed hair and swamp green dress. Like all other 13 halloween I’ve ever been to. Same day, same costume, same expression. Took my candy bag. Like I’m 7. The weather is turning orange. Oh, Brown’s got a new car I guess… Did I step on a bug? It’s cold. There is a cinnamon scent everywhere. However, where is everyone? Streets are empty. I guess I will be alone tonight. First, Mrs. Sour’s home. She has been alone for 60 years now. Not married, even once. With her cats, all alone. I hate cat smells. The old disturbing, boring old dusty brown door that hasn’t ever changed. Bed bugs everywhere. I rang the bell. Nothing. Now, I realize. No decorations, no candies, no costumes, no nothing. Where is everyone? Where is halloween?

ISN’T IT HALLOWEEN?

Isn’t it Halloween? Why is nobody dressed up? No home is decorated as well. I remember last year’s Halloween. It was a blast. The suits we wore with my friends were marvelous. Oh, I should finish watching “Suits”. Mike is in a lot of trouble, I wonder if he is going to get kicked out of the investment company. I really need to start investing. Most of my friends even started making money. A little pocket money wouldn’t hurt. Everything is so expensive nowadays. A donut at Krispy Kreme is literally 60 liras. It’s ludicrous. But to be honest, donuts are mouth-watering. At least for me. Probably the best donut I ate was the one that was served in the 5th grade Halloween party. Halloween is the greatest holiday ever. Something’s off today. No home is decorated. Nobody is dressed up as well. Isn’t it Halloween today?

Congratulations to this week's winner: Naz Ekşi. Ömer has a few note on the competition to share:

Artun Batu Yıldırım: I believe that Artun’s piece was also generally well-written, but if he used short or incomplete sentences it would have been better due to the fact that I believe those can really assist us to express our feelings. As I have mentioned, it was still an outstanding piece but there is a little room for improvement.

Naz Ekşi: Generally, I really enjoyed the piece mainly because she used short sentences really efficiently. In addition, I believe that the utilization of incomplete sentence also helped her to express her feelings. I would like to congratulate Naz once again.

Tune in for next week's competition--new prompt is available by Wednesday at 22:00.
