Submissions are due by 10:00 P.M the following Monday. The winner will be notified on Tuesday morning by email and will create the following week's prompt by Wednesday at 08:00.

Your Prompt:
Write a story about a protagonist meeting their doppelgänger for the first time.

Word Count: 150 - 200 words (no more, no less)

Expectations:
-Remember that you are writing for the Koç School's community. Please be respectful of that community.
-Respect the word count
-Your work should have a title--this is not part of your word count.
-Include your full name and word count at the end of your submission.
-Have fun with this challenge.

22:00 P.M. Monday, November 27th

Mirrored Fates

In the quiet and calm town of Ashton Falls, resides a young boy that goes by the name Brick. As the local school of Ashton High comes to a start after the eventful and restful summer, a new boy by the name of Trick makes an appearance. Trick has just moved to Ashton Falls with his mother after the passing of his late father. Trick quickly fits in, and is thriving in school, quickly becoming a popular name. Brick on the other hand hasn't heard or seen Trick, well one day as Brick was walking through the newly swept corridors he get's mistaken for Trick and is in a shock. Brick rushes to ask his friends about this encounter, and quickly gets told that Trick looks almost identical to him. After Brick has learnt more about this new boy in town, he thinks to himself that he is a failure and that Trick is an updated version of himself. The following morning, Brick encounters Trick, Trick has actually heard of Brick and offers to put their differences, well similarities in this case apart and become friends. Brick accepts, and eventually becomes close friends with Trick.
