Insert Title

You know that feeling when sometimes you wake up and it’s like, “I could do anything today. I really should do something, anything,” and you have so much time, so much precious time, and it’s kinda overwhelming—it’s kinda disturbing?
Your mind sorta draws a blank, and you do nothing. You just stay there.
Thirty-seven minutes later, you’re still there in bed, staring at the ceiling above, making out shapes in the rough patches of painted stucco.
More time passes and the guilt starts to creep up and pretty soon your mind is polluted by a bunch of useless thoughts.
By now you’re kinda delirious, just staring into emptiness, muttering a bunch of incoherent sentences to yourself, and after some more time has gone by, you’re still there, flipped onto your side, but your arm has gone limp and you realize that you’ve been lying down on it for probably hours now.
Before you know it the day is over and you think to yourself, “Wow. I never thought my day would end like this.”
Well that’s what today was like.

Word Count: 180

Lina, when I wrote the prompt I didn't picture for someone to interpret it the way that you did, and I have to admit that what you did was amazing and I love it. I love how you wrote what others would have considered the opposite of the prompt.

Nice work, Lina. A good mindset for the whimsy of summer...not best for when school starts. Enjoy it for now.
